Dr's Secret Spot Serum really works?!

Hi Beauties!

I was blessed to be given this product by Daily Vanity to review. Lucky enough when I was about to start this review, I have an active pimple on my forehead and a lot of whiteheads on my chin and forehead that is not that visible.

Let's start with the introduction of the product. This serum is called Dr's Secret Spot Serum. You can get them on their official website at $53 SGD. The product comes in a glass with a dripper and it consists of 30ml of product. It claims to be a gentle blemish serum that calms troubled skin and restores skin's natural clarity.

I find that what they claimed seems to be true because my skin looks way. Below I will show you how it works for my skin.

This is me with no makeup, no skincare and no filter. It is as raw as it is. As you can see from the picture above, my skin looks clear up from the blemishes in my "Before" picture. As some of you would know, my skin rarely have pimples and when they do, the pimple is stubborn and it will take so long to get rid of. That includes the mark.

I remembered I started using this serum in the morning of 18th December, day and night, to see how it really works on my skin. I was warned not to use any chemical exfoliators that might disrupt the results of the review. And I did, I only use physical exfoliators instead to exfoliate my face twice a week for my dry skin. I use this serum diligently every day and night up until today and I am amazed that my skin is so smooth without whiteheads bumps on both my forehead and on my chin. I actually have seen results on Day 4, I only see the marks but the surface of my pimple and whiteheads are smooth. Not long after, my pimple mark was gone on day 7. That got me to check and read up more about this product.

So this serum consists of a lot of active ingredients such as:

  • Natural Antiseptics to help clear blemishes.
    • Tea Tree Oil
    • Watercress
    • Soapwort Leaf/Root Extracts
  •  Helps control sebum production and eliminate excess oil.
    • Burdock Root
    • Lemon Peel Extracts
  • Provide antioxidants and soothe troubled skin.
    • Bladderwrack
    • Sage Leaf
    • Ivy Leaf Extracts

All of the natural goodness in 1 bottle. How to use this serum.
  1. after cleansing your face, apply only at those affected areas.
  2. tap lightly using your fingertips instead of swiping motion.
  3. apply it throughout the whole day. (Day and Night)
Would I repurchase this product?
Yes, because at times, Tea Tree Oil itself takes up a lot of time and it doesn't work on some people.

With that, I would end this post and I hope to see you in my next post.💖

Top 5 Best Foundation for Dry Skin (2019 Edition)

Hello Beauties!

Since we are ending 2019, I am going to tell you all of my favourite products for the whole month series. So, let's start off with foundations! The focus would be the products that launches in 2019.

1. Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation

This foundation is my ultimate go to foundation ever since it was release. Truth be told, ever since I started using this foundation, I didn't want to put it down. It was so hard for me to try out any other foundations because it is so good! My skin enjoys it way too much. This foundation gives you that hydration and coverage with all the goodness in it without looking cakey at all. If you continuously use it for a long while, you will see that your skin will give you that natural glow and your skin condition improved too (at least for me it does). This foundation not only survive cold and normal weather, but it survive the humid weather of Singapore where it is summer all year round. Nudestix has always been a fan of nude but better and I'm a big fan of looking natural.

Anyway, I've reviewed this foundation before. I will leave the link here for you to refer in detailed. Click me to read it in Detailed.

2. Zoeva Authentik Skin Foundation.

If I'm not using my number 1 favourite foundation, this Zoeva Authentik Skin Foundation is my next go to foundation. It has medium coverage and it feels super lightweight on my skin. It gives me that sheen glow and healthy looking skin. Whenever I have this foundation on, I'd get a lot of compliments about it. This foundation definitely gives me that radiance and natural finish effortlessly without having highlighter on. But as usual, I love being extra, I will top it off with a highlighter that makes this foundation looks dewy. Would I repurchase this foundation once it finish? Definitely! I can't leave without this foundation. My second baby.

A full review on this foundation has already been posted before about a few weeks ago. I will leave the link here for you to read up. Click me to read up in detailed.

3. Beautyblender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation.

This foundation is my  favourite go to whenever I'm going to an outdoor event. The longevity of this foundation plus the staying power is so good, you can sweat as much as you like but this foundation ain't budging. When you go for an outdoor event, you won't have time to even touch up, much less look into the mirror. So this foundation is one of the best that you can trust without the need to touch up. It gives you that velvety feeling which is neither matte or dewy. It is somewhere in the middle which I prefer. Because the causes of wearing fully matte will make you look flat while having a dewy foundation for an outdoor event makes you look like a greasy monster. You don't look cute either way. So I would say, this is perfect for such occasions.

I've actually reviewed it in detailed. I will leave the link here and you can have a look into it. Click on me to read up in detailed.

4. L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation.

During the cold seasons, I prefer a very hydrating foundation and my ultimate favourite has to be this L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. This foundation give that dewy finish that makes you look fresh. During the cold seasons, your skin tend to crack due to the cold. Knowing that, this foundation is my savior. I've tried quite a number of hydrating foundation yet this is my favourite. The rest is either way too dewy that it shift around or it is too dewy that the coverage doesn't last long. I will do a full detailed review soon after this season of favourites to end the year of 2019.

5. Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation.

For a natural skin-like foundation, I love to go for this foundation, Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation. This foundation is so lightweight that you don't feel like you are wearing anything on. The coverage is medium to buildable full. And I have to say that this foundation have it's own perks. It protects your skin tiny dust and carbon (which is also known as anti-pollution), it is anti-oxidant (which is a rare to find in a foundation i might add) and it consists of anti-blue light to protect your skin from getting pigmentation.
I will do a full detailed review soon after this season of favourites!

And that's all for foundation favourites for my dry skin. I hope to see you in my next post / video 💖

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Stick Foundation - I Am Shooked!

Hello Beauties!

Have you ever wanted a simple look with coverage? Do you want a hustle-free foundation without the mess?

Well, look no further. Wet n Wild has your back. Presenting. . .

This is Wet n Wild Photo Focus Stick Foundation. It comes in a retractable plastic tube as a stick version. It is medium to buildable full coverage, long-lasting throughout the whole day and slightly humid-proof. Why do I say slightly humid-proof? Because it can last through Singapore's heat provided when you sweat, you don't touch your face or dap it with a tissue. You either air-dry it or use a portable fan to dry your face. That way, you won't see any patchiness.

This stick foundation comes in 21 shades and it retails at $5.99 USD from Wet n Wild Official Website. This foundation is not easy to get in Singapore hardly any store bring them in. But if you are lucky and you see those pop-up Watsons outside of the store itself, try to have a look. If might see them there retailing at $10+ SGD. Any possible place to get them is Metro. I got mine at Metro Centerpoint before it closed at the same price as Watsons. Be mindful if you were to get it in Singapore as they only bring in Fair shade range but if you were to head down to the official page, you can see a range of shades that caters fairly on all skin tones.

This product is infused with Argan Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil for intense moisture and seamless bendability. Below I will share with you the benefits of Argan Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil to your skin.

What are the benefits of Argan Oil?
Argan Oil helps to hydrate your skin, reduce signs of ageing, helps to control oily skin and it may protect your skin against sun damage.
What are the benefits of Sunflower Seed Oil?
Sunflower Seed Oil is a great source of Vitamin E, rich in nutrients and antioxidants, combats skincare issues like acne, inflammation, general redness and irritation to the skin. It also has emollient properties that help the skin retain its moisture.

With all the goodness that this product is infused with, it is no wonder the product blends like a dream. It is super easy to blend, you can blend using your beauty sponge, a kabuki brush or your fingers. It is that easy.

Below I will show you pictures of how the foundation lasted on my face.

(this is after almost 2-hour mark and I had to run that morning as I was chasing a bus. I did perspire a little that causes my foundation to be a bit patchy on my moustache area but it is not that obvious in this picture)

(this is after 10-hour mark and my foundation is still intact and I managed to cover the patchiness around the moustache area by reblending the foundation around my face)

(this is after 15-hour mark. No cakey-ness whatsoever)

Now the verdict.
What is my take on Wet n Wild Photo Focus Stick Foundation?
I feel this is a very good stick foundation from the drugstore. As you may know, to get a stick foundation from the drugstore which gives you the hydration and coverage is not easy. I agree to that very much because I have been on a hunt for a while and some that I've tested either too dry, doesn't give me the coverage or the pigments are horrible. For this foundation, it gives you coverage, pigments, long-lasting, hydration and no flashback! A good package indeed, don't you think so? However, I'm not keen to put this stick foundation on when the weather is super humid because I have to worry about touching up when I hardly do any touch up other than lipsticks. So for my opinion, if you are going out in cloudy or rainy weather, this foundation will be your best friend. If you are going out for perhaps around 6 hours only, this would be your best friend too. I love this foundation for my lazy days where I don't need to worry about coverage and eyebags because this stick foundation with Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick would make the best combo ever.

That sums up my review on this foundation and I hope to see you in my next post! 💖

Zoeva Authentik Skin Foundation - Low Key Product.

Hello Beauties!

Today we are back to foundation again! And today's foundation is Zoeva Authentik Skin Foundation.

This particular foundation have minimum hype. Apparently, hardly anybody talks about Zoeva foundation when it is so good! But if you say Zoeva, people will know them for their luxurious yet affordable brushes. Want to know why? This is because the founder, Zoe Boikou, who is born in Greece and not long after, moved to Germany with her family to seek a better life. Having little means but great resourcefulness, she soon evolved from a handful of brushes on eBay to 300-plus signature makeup formulas, palettes and tools sold around the world.

Now, let's go into details. Below is what Zoeva Authentik Skin Foundation claimed to be.

What is Rose Hip Oil?
Rose Hip Oil is packed with Vitamins, Antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are claimed to do wonderful things to your skin. It helps to brighten your face, fade scars, firms up your skin, even out your skin tone, treat wrinkles and last but not least, moisturizing.

I have to agree that this foundation feels lightweight on the skin, it has a medium to buildable full coverage. It is super easy to blend, the formula is not watery, neither is it thick. It gives your skin that natural, slightly glowy skin finish, which I loved. It is also water-resistant, YES YOU HEARD ME! Water-resistant. Even though it is not stated anywhere in the description of the foundation, but when I was playing around with it, I managed to give it a test and it doesn't budge. That is impressive! But if you plan to wear this foundation for swimming, I dare not say that it will hold. Haha! This foundation is also formulated with microsphere powders with soft-focus properties to help create a flawless, airbrushed effect. This is proven too! In all, I'm in love with this foundation.

This foundation comes with a plastic pump and a glass bottle. Such a classic foundation packaging if you ask me. It retails at $42 SGD at Sephora Singapore ($28 USD at Zoeva Official Website). It consists of 30ml of product which I find it very affordable. A plus point to that. Another plus point is that, this foundation comes in 44 shades. This I can assure you that there is a shade for everyone. Also, take a look at their shade names. The shade names makes me feel good and motivated! I am in shade 070N Bright by the way.

Now it's time for the durability test in this hot humid weather.

(this is almost a 2-hour mark after application. Still looking good like I just applied them)

(this is a 6-hour mark. Foundation still loving my face)

(this is 15-hour mark. Time to clean my face and head to bed)

What are my thoughts on Zoeva Authentik Foundation?
I personally like this foundation. I mean this foundation is nothing groundbreaking whatsoever, but the fact that this foundation is lightweight on the skin, medium coverage and covers my redness, humidity resistant and water-resistant, this foundation had me ticking everything I looked for in a foundation. For every foundation review, I do have a certain checklist to see how it fairs and I have to say, this foundation is low-key good stuff. It is by far the cheapest. I used to say Fenty Beauty is the cheapest foundation, but now Zoeva has taken its spot in being the cheapest foundation in Sephora (excluding Sephora Collection that is). In any way, I got a little sidetrack. Haha! Back to topic, this foundation even after setting it with loose setting powder, it still makes my face glowy. Ain't that what everybody wants? A glowy healthy look even without highlighter 😍 It's like you're not wearing any foundation. Your skin but better.

I would not have it any other way. This foundation definitely lasted throughout the whole day without any caking anywhere, without looking patchy after I perspire when I chase after morning bus. It still made me look fabulous. If you are looking for a foundation with good coverage, you might want to check this out. I can vouch for my dry skin sisters, but I think perhaps combination skin sisters can enjoy this too.

With that, I shall end my post here.
I'm so sorry that I've been out of the game for a while due to brain exhaustion. Have no fear, Brock is here! (LOL! Quote from Pokemon 😆).
I will see you in my next post! 💖

My October 2019 Yay and Nay!

Hi All!

I'm so excited to do this post on a monthly basis! OMG!! I thought that nobody would be interested but boy, was I wrong. Look at the results of the polling that I did on 13th October on my IG.

2 of you (my followers) accidentally clicked no when they actually wanted to click yes. So, I'm going to do it for you!

Let's get the ball rolling!
I shall call this segment as Yay and Nay.
We'll do the Yay first, then Nay.

YAY: Sand and Sky Australian Pink Clay - Porefining Face Mask.

I am Obsessed with this Pink Clay. I'm not the type of person who loves to mask because I hate waiting. This mask requires you to have this mask on for 10 minutes before washing it off. This mask really delivers what it promised you. It really tightens your pores, makes your skin appear brighter compared to before you even had it on. I have very dry skin and this doesn't stop me from reaching out for this mask. This mask gives you that super smooth, velvety feeling skin that I promise you, you would be constantly touching your face. I am not kidding! Even I do that after masking with this Pink Clay!😋 Don't worry my dry skin sisters because your skin will love this product as it has Aloe Vera in it. That way, it won't dry up your skin but maximum use only twice a week. For oily skin sisters, use them at least 3-4 times depending on how sensitive your skin is towards this mask.

This mask retails at $69.90 SGD in our Local Sephora ($49 USD from Sand and Sky Official website).

YAY: Biossance Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel.

OMG! This has to be one of my newly favourite eye gel. This is very very hydrating. I love using it at night because I'm in love at how it feels on me when I wake up. My under eyes have less visible fine lines, it looks refresh and frankly speaking, it feels moist. I can never get that moist feeling with any other eye cream/gel all this while. And I don't mean it like a sticky feeling, but that plump feeling. I love it! I have been using it for a month now and I would continue using it finishes. This is something worth looking into.

This Eye Gel retails at $77 SGD in our Local Sephora ($54 USD from Biossance Official Website).

YAY: Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil

When I see Squalane in the ingredient, I'm super happy. Squalane mimics your skin's natural oils, making it an excellent emollient. Squalane has natural antioxidant properties. Anything anti-ageing, I love it! 😍 I have been using this oil for almost a month now and I love how plump, how my skin looks brighten effortlessly without feeling too oily on the face. You can use this under your make up and also at night. I prefer using it at night since I have a good moisturizer for the day.

This oil retails at $103 SGD in our Local Sephora ($72 USD from Biossance Official Website).

YAY: Benefit Cosmetics Cookie Box O Highlighter.

I have always been a big fan of blinding highlighters and this Cookie would be categorized under blinding highlighter if you ask me. I prefer a high shine highlighter as I have dry skin. If I have normal shimmering highlighter, my face will look quite dull and boring. Thus, this highlighter saved my boring face! And I have to say this highlighter high shine literally last the whole day! I would be using it from 8am all the way until 11pm. That is roughly at least 15 hours of application! Awesome right? Go check it out! 😍

This retails at $53 SGD at our Local Sephora and Local Official Website.

YAY: WOWO Hair Series Shampoo + Hair Mask.

I recently tried this Shampoo with Hair Mask for close to a month now and I am loving it every single day. My hair becomes really smooth and soft. If you ever see those hair commercial advertisements, my hair feels and looks exactly like that, minus static hair that loves to show their existence. I've tried a few other shampoo and conditioner a lot and quite frankly, I switch my shampoo every few months depending on what my hair needs after bleaching my hair. As of right now, my hair is definitely loving this combo.

This Shampoo has Pure Ginger, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil and Wheat Grain Protein. It helps to give your hair that soft and silky hair, reduce hair fall (and this really shows!), cleanses your scalp (scalp care is important guys!) and strengthen your hair.

Now for the Hair Mask. The Hair Mask can be used as a hair conditioner (or daily too), steam spa treatment and also, water spa treatment. It consists of Jojoba Oil, Wheat Germ Protein, Seaweed Extract, Vitamin E, Avocado and Collagen. Using the Hair Mask together with the Shampoo gives you that ultimate combo of even stronger hair that won't break easily, very moisturizing and nourishing for the hair.

Definitely, a combo that I would highly let you guys try too. I will post a detailed review next time. As for now, a summary review is up! 😍
The Shampoo retails at $25 SGD and their Hair Mask at $21 SGD from their reseller Instagram Page > Red_Lyna. She is also my cousin by the way, but I don't believe in biased marketing unless it really works.

Now comes the Nay.

NAY: Pixi Glow Tonic.

(Picture from Sephora)

I feel like something in the ingredient is making me have allergic reaction. Whenever I use Glow Tonic, my face will turn extremely red and heaty like it is on fire. I have to immediately wash it off before it burns my skin. I feel like a whole lot of people love this so much but sadly this is not working out for my dry and sensitive skin.

NAY: Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Foundation Stick.

So far I love all of Milani Cosmetics products but this particular one just decide to be in my NAY list. Why I would say it is a NAY product? Firstly, the product doesn't feel creamy at all. It feels very dry on my face and skin even though I had my face all prep with dewy products. I don't know if I bought a bad batch or something. Secondly, I feel like the coverage is only sheer. It states on the website that it is a full-coverage stick foundation but I feel like it doesn't cover my pimple marks and redness on my face that well. I thought maybe the product needs to be warm up first before going in. I tried swiping the product on my hand and going in when it is at least creamy, the coverage is still the same. I was hoping that it would be good so that on lazy days, I could just swipe left and right and blend and I would be done. But sadly, now there's no chance for that. It just made me feel so disappointed as I have high hopes after trying the other products from Milani Cosmetics.

That's a total of 5 Yay and 2 Nay. I hope to continue doing this segment on a monthly basis focusing on skincare and other face products.

With that, I shall end here.
I see you in my next post.💖

Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick

Hello Beautiful People!

I bet everyone has heard such good things about Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick right? When it was launched, I remembered Nikkie Tutorial did a world tour to show how to use Marc Jacobs Beauty makeup.

Today I'm going to tell you my point of view on how this concealer stick works and if it is a Yay or Nay for me.

This concealer has to be the cutest thing! It is small and cute that you can put it in your purse for easy touch up on the go. It comes in a bullet looking tube and it is roughly the size of my palm. Too Cute! The concealer retails at $45 SGD in Sephora Singapore while it retails at $32 USD in their official website. It consists of 5g of product in this bullet looking tube.

This concealer has a very creamy consistency that it is very easy to blend. You know there are some stick concealers that are hard to blend? This concealer is nothing like that. This is by far the most hydrating stick concealer that I've ever used. It is also very full coverage and very pigmented that you don't need that much to cover your under eyes. One swipe per under eyes is enough to last throughout the whole day. It is formulated with Snow Mushroom to accomplish that smooth, hydrated-looking skin without creasing or caking.

What is Snow Mushroom?
Snow Mushroom, also known as Tremella Fuciformis, is a fungus not only used in Chinese Cuisine for centuries but also, it is used in spas. Snow Mushroom is the current trending ingredient that is making its way in the Western culture.

What is the benefit of Snow Mushroom?
1. Provides Stellar Hydration.
    - Improve skin ability to retain skin moisture
    - Penetrate skin easier as it has smaller particles than Hyaluronic Acid
    - Natural ingredient
2. Enhance Skin Elasticity.
    - Extra hydration to the skin = Keep wrinkles at bay
    - Smooth skin's surface
    - Anti-ageing properties
3. Reduces Inflammation.
    - Suitable for sensitive skin
4. Lightens and Brightens skin.
    - Inhibit melanin; This is great for people with acne scars and dark patches as it helps to brighten and lighten the effect
5. Heals Wound.
    - Power to stimulate cell growth which helps with healing wounds
    - It has high vitamin D, thus, aids skin abrasions, stubborn blemishes

So I would say, keep a lookout for Snow Mushroom, or Tremella Fuciformis, in your future skincare ingredient as quite a number of skincare has already input them into their product.

Now, on to how it last on my face. Below I would be showing you how it looks like throughout the whole day.

(this is after an hour plus of having the concealer on my face.)

(this is my 2nd check-in after 6 hours plus through the day.)

(this is the final check-in after 14 hours plus.)

My Verdict of this concealer.
On my first impression of this concealer, I can't figure out how to use this concealer as it cakes on me and also, it creases so much. I put it aside after buying it thinking I'll have a look around at how people are using it before going for it again. After putting it aside for as long as 2-3 months later, I started picking up this concealer thinking of going it another go before putting a bad review on it and I was glad I didn't do that. Because right now, it is the best concealer that I could think of.

I would suggest using your fingers to blend the concealer for your under eyes if you have a deep natural crease line. Use your finger's warmth to stimulate the formula of the concealer to blend it seamlessly into skin. Then go in using a beauty sponge to blend in other areas like your nose bridge. I prefer setting it with loose powder as this concealer will crease on me like literally immediately if I don't. If you feel like your concealer cakes up when using this concealer, try blending it using your finger and going in with your beauty sponge to smooth out the formula. It'll help.

This concealer is really long-lasting and it does last through the humid weather of Singapore. I enjoyed it so much because it is really full coverage that sometimes, I have to reblend the concealer throughout the day (due to a deep crease line that I naturally have) using my finger but it doesn't lose it's coverage like some concealer does. It is truly the best stick concealers that I've own. I would highly recommend this stick concealer for all skin types. So far, I've watched and read reviews that all skin types enjoy this concealer.

On a plus note Marc Jacobs Beauty is animal cruelty-free! However, they are not vegan as some of the products consist of beewax and carmine.

With that, I shall end my review.
Hope to see you in my next post! 💖

Milani Cosmetics Stay Put Matte Liquid Eyeliner is a DUPE for Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Eyeliner?!

Hello Beauties!

Whenever a new eyeliner comes out in the market, I would get super interested at how good it is.

Anastasia Beverly Hills recently just launch their first liquid eyeliner. All this while, they only have their waterproof gel liner. And now, that they have their very own liquid eyeliner, I'm intrigued.

This eyeliner looks promising. It comes in a plastic glossy slim bottle which is like a pen like feel. It is slim to the touch and feels like a pen too, making it travel friendly for you to bring it out everywhere you go without taking up a lot of space. It cost $32 SGD in Sephora Singapore ($18 USD from Anastasia Beverly Hills Official website) and it consist of 2.4ml of product in the bottle. This eyeliner has a brush tip that comes together with a dipping tube. For those of you who are used to using the felt tip pen version, this might take a while for you to use this type of eyeliner. The formula is black matte and it last throughout the whole day. I always have eyeliner on from 8am until almost 11pm when i'm trying out makeup and this is one of them that works well during that time frame or longer. Anastasia Beverly Hills products are 100% Animal Cruelty Free, but they are not vegan because some of their products contain beeswax or honey.

This eyeliner claims to be:
1. waterproof
2. Highly pigmented
3. True black matte eyeliner
4. Soft felt-tip precision applicator to achieve that flawless eye look you desired

All in all, I love how this eyeliner works on me and it has not disappoint me so far despite one or two that I will cover soon below.

Now let's bring in the DUPE product that I recently come across. Milani Cosmetics are well known for their bake blushes. There's hype for their Liquid Foundation, Concealer, Highlighter palette and Blush but there isn't a single hype about their Liquid Eyeliner. I think Milani Liquid Eyeliner has been around for quite some time now, but that is only my opinion 😅

This eyeliner makes me feel very old school because I'm so used to using this type of eyeliner during my whole schooling days (age 15 until 23). If you are a drugstore person, you can have a look at Silkygirl liquid eyeliner that have similar bottle as this eyeliner just that the only difference is Silkygirl Eyeliner comes in a glossy silver bottle while Milani Eyeliner comes in a matte black bottle.
This eyeliner cost $17.35 SGD from Watsons Singapore ($7.99 USD from Milani Cosmetics Official Website) and comes in a tiny tub matte bottle. It consists of 2.5ml of product and it comes in 4 shades. The eyeliner is matte in texture and it doesn't cracks after it is dry up. I love how easy and fast this dries up after applying and it doesn't smudge at all through the whole day (from 8am until 11pm). Milani Cosmetics is 100% Animal Cruelty Free and it is also 100% vegan!

This eyeliner claims to be:
1. Smudgeproof even from sweat and humidity
2. Powerfully pigmented and matte to the max
3. Water resistant
4. Last up to 17 hours

All in all, I love this eyeliner too! It doesn't give me any problem and it always delivers whenever I draw my wing liner.

Now let's get down to business.

Milani Cosmetics Stay Put Matte Liquid Eyeliner is a perfect DUPE for Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Eyeliner. Why do I say so?

Here are the similarities.
1. Very pigmented.
2. Matte formula.
3. Dries quite fast that makes it easy to avoid smudges after applying it.
4. Soft but precise applicator to achieve wing liner easily.
5. A faint smell of permanent marker.
6. Putting it side by side, you really can't tell the difference.
7. Very long lasting. Both last about the same time.

Here are the differences.
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) can be found in Sephora while Milani Cosmetics can be found in Watsons. (High end VS Drugstore)
2. ABH cost $32 SGD while Milani cost $17.35 SGD.
3. ABH have longer handle and applicator while Milani have shorter applicator.
4. Both eyeliner dries up fast but comparing between these two, Milani take just slightly a few seconds longer.

And that is all I have about these two products. All in all, I love both. I still pick and choose which should I use when I wish to go all matte but I will always end up with one on each side 😅

I hope you enjoy reading about my review.
I shall see you in my next post. 💖

Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation

Nudestix have finally came up with their very own liquid foundation!

"Go Nude But Better!"

That is their slogan which I totally agree. I love going nude. I've always been a girl who love going nude but I'm also the girl who love a good product that give you that natural flush of colours without going all crazy for my day-to-day look.

Without further ado, let's talk about Nudestix First Ever Liquid Foundation! I've known of this launch for a few months since my last event Sephora Beauty Beats on 11th July 2019. It was like Love at First Sight with the foundation but sadly I forgot to take a sample of the foundation so that I could do a review for you guys. Now that they have officially reach Singapore, I am at my most happiest! 😍

Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation.

Tinted Cover Foundation is designed to give your skin that natural radiant finish. It is formulated like a Korean Skincare formula with tinted coverage. Nudestix believes that the minimalist approach to creating natural and real looking skin. They created this foundation with a mindset that skin should feel like skin but better.

The foundation comes in a tube with a pump that makes it travel friend and light. It has a light to slightly buildable medium coverage but if you planned to use this foundation to cover blemishes, I would highly suggest you to opt for spot concealing. The foundation feels super lightweight on the skin making me feel like I have nothing on other than skincare. It comes in 15 shades altogether. It has 20ml of product, costing $52 SGD from Sephora.

**If you are from Singapore, do note that Nudestix is giving their Blend And Buff Brush if you spend a minimum of $65 SGD on their brand products. All you have to do is  quote NUDESTIXSG to redeem from 18 Sep - 03 October 2019, while stock last. You can only redeem the brush online only.

This foundation claims that . . .
1. Uses natural ingredients that is good for your skin that will make your skin glowy.
2. It does not cause break-outs.
3. They use hydra-technology to soften skin, brightening minerals that blends into your natural skintone instead of masking it so that your skin will still look like skin.
4. Uses 18 Natural extracts to balance skin condition, protect from the environment, provide anti-aging benefits and improve overall skin texture.

Below I will attach the key ingredients in this foundation.

Wow. Judging from the list above, they focus on anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. Why is that so?
Anti-aging properties in the foundation helps smooth skin texture, hides inperfections, disguise fine lines and wrinkles, and gives your skin that glowing complexion. Anti-aging properties consist of antioxidants, hydrators, peptides and collagen boosters.
I strongly believe that as you grow older, your skin will thank you for taking care of it and feeding it with anti-aging products.
Anti-inflammatory properties in the foundation helps with soothing the skin from acne breakouts, redness and flakiness. These are caused by UV exposure, allergies and chemicals from skincare.

With this much goodness in a foundation, I believe that your skin will improve to be better that it is now in the long run. Below I will show you how it looks like on me when I was doing a review on it.

(This is after 1.5 hours of application. I chased after a bus and sweat a little that morning but it still good.)

(This is after 5 hours of application. I went out of my office in the humid and hazy weather and my foundation is good.)

(This is after 9.5 hours of application. I have to say I am still impressed at how long lasting this foundation is.)

(This is after 14 hours mark. And I was about to take my makeup off for the day)

My Verdict.
I'm totally in love with this foundation. It gives me that sheer glow that I need and love without working so hard to pump different kind of skincare underneath the foundation. This foundation also works well on skin without primer. On days where I'm lazy to put on a lot of things, I would just grab this foundation and Nudestix Matte Blush and bronzer and I'm done. I would personally say that this foundation is humid-proof and sweatproof. Why do I say so? I'm the type of person who sweat easily on my face in this Singapore humid and warm weather. So it is always good to test if the foundation can hold on even after you sweat a bucket. So far this foundation doesn't even turn patchy after a whole day of application and running around from hot to cold places on repeat throughout the whole day. Also, this foundation have a nice smell. I can't really put a name on it to what kind of smell is it but it makes me feel happy using a product that is not too strong on the smell.
This foundation is definitely sitting on my vanity table instead of being in a bag full of testers 😍
Oh did I mention that this foundation is vegan and animal cruelty free? BONUS!! 🙆
P.s. I do set my face lightly with a setting loose powder but you can go without it too.

That's it for today!
