Is BeautyBlender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation Worth The Hype?

Hi Beauties!

It has been a month now since this foundation was launch in Singapore. It releases just in a nick of time before Sephora had their first half of the year sale.

Originally I was contemplating if I should get this foundation since there's a whole lot of controversy circling it but I decided to join the bandwagon.

First off, let's take a moment and appreciate how this bad boy looks like. Don't you just love cute packaging? I do! 😄 But liking the packaging is only a small factor. What matter most is the formula of this foundation.

As you can see from the picture above, the foundation comes in a frosted glass bottle with a plastic section for the beautyblender sponge. It is a perfect size for your beautyblender sponge but if you use any other sponge, it is fine too! 😌

If you look at the back of the container, there is a lock and unlock button. So you don't have to worry about the foundation spilling out. That comes in handy if you need to travel and you would be worry-free of the foundation spilling all over your bag.

Now, let's talk about the texture and consistency of this foundation. The foundation has a smooth texture and a thick consistency. With just 2 pumps, it is more than enough to cover my whole face. I love pairing this foundation with Farsali Skintune Blur Serum or Beautyblender Opal Essence Serum Face Primer.

As you can see from the picture above, there are 40 shades in total. The shades are leaning towards light and fair instead of the medium and dark shades. I hope BeautyBlender will work things out better for the shade range.

This foundation doesn't cake and it doesn't make your skin oily. I've tested this foundation on so many occasions such as humid weddings, humid and scorching Penang weather and super cold office. It lasted throughout all adversity. I kid you not. It doesn't crack nor will it dry up my skin. I have been enjoying this foundation for 3 weeks and counting. Even if you sweat a whole lot, this foundation covers you. It will stay on your face even with all the sweat. It does fade off a little, but not as much to the extent of losing the whole coverage. It leaves you with a tint of coverage which is still good as compared to other foundations that I've tried. This foundation is a medium to buildable full coverage.

I believe since Nikkia Joy (oily skin influencer) enjoys this foundation, I would say this foundation is good for all skin types since I (dry skin person) enjoys it too. I have no regret getting this foundation as it is damn awesome for Singapore's humidity level and even Penang (which is hotter than Singapore).

Below are the pictures of the wear test of the foundation throughout the whole day.

This foundation is so versatile that it is currently my holy grail! If you ask me whether I would get this foundation again once it is finish, my answer would be a direct YES! This foundation is so good that whoever asked me about this foundation, I would say "Give it a go! You won't regret it."

A little information, this foundation works well without primer too. I once forgot to use primer and I thought it would slide around, but to my surprise, it stays put. So this foundation is here to stay!

**Feel free to read this part. These are the things that work best for me! **
(or else you could skip this part)

1. Regarding how the foundation shoots out.
If you don't wish to dirty the back of your hand, you can use that curve part as your foundation palette. But the downside of it is there will be bits of foundation that is stuck in that tiny hole below where the foundation shoots out. Personally for me, that is the part I don't quite like. Because in the long run, it would be tedious to clean it up. So for me, I would position the shooting part down towards the back of my hand. That way, the curve part is clean and I don't have to clean the tiny hole. 👍

2. How I love Pairing this foundation with what kind of primer.
When it is paired with Farsali Skintune Blur Serum (or any mattifying primer), your skin will have this velvety, satin finish which I'm currently obsessed at the moment.
When it is paired with Beautyblender Opal Essence Serum Face Primer (or any hydrating primer), your skin will have a bright and dewy finish.

With that, I end my post!
I see you in my next review! 💖
